Aiera has closed a $25 million Series B funding round led by a consortium made up of several major Wall Street investment banks and global expert network firm Third Bridge, according to a company news release.

The new funding will be used to advance AI-driven financial research solutions, helping Aiera improve language model accuracy, enhance intellectual property protections and offer a platform customers can use to embed generative AI into their workflows.

As part of the initiative, Microsoft will serve as Aiera’s strategic technology partner, providing Azure infrastructure to support Aiera’s generative AI capabilities.

Additionally, Aiera has formed a Buy-Side Advisory Council to help guide its product development through insights, recommendations and feedback from industry participants.

“This marks a defining moment in our industry. Together with our partners, we are building a secure and scalable AI ecosystem, one that enhances the value of research, safeguards intellectual property and empowers more informed, real-time decision-making,” Ken Sena, CEO of Aiera, said in a statement.
