Celonis, a company specializing in process mining technology, recently announced its expansion plans in Switzerland. The company is furthering its existing presence in the country by moving into a new office in Zurich and enabling data to be hosted in a local Swiss data center.
The move will enable Celonis to better serve its local customer base, making it easier for them to comply with Switzerland’s strict data protection laws. Celonis offers visibility into business processes with a platform that consolidates and analyzes data from internal and external sources. Hosting data locally will be particularly helpful for its customers in the financial space as they aims to meet special compliance requirements.
With the help of Celonis’ solution, companies like Hitachi Energy, Novartis, Syngenta and Zurich Insurance are better able to pinpoint inefficiencies in their business processes and address them directly, according to the company.
