Finch, a pre-litigation operations platform for personal injury law firms, has launched following a private funding round led by Sequoia Capital. Additional investors include Roar Ventures, Liquid 2 Ventures, DoorDash CEO Tony Xu and Ironclad CEO Jason Boehmig.

The company is focused on helping law firms scale by combining human expertise with artificial intelligence. Its approach aims to streamline time-consuming pre-litigation work so firms can serve more clients without compromising on quality.

“It’s harder than ever to profitably grow a law firm while maintaining high quality standards on each case. Margins are tighter, hiring and retaining great staff is challenging, and even firms that use AI tools see low usage rates among their staff. Many firms are offshoring parts of pre-litigation, but at a cost to quality,” Viraj Bindra, CEO of Finch, said in a statement.

According to the company, its platform pairs paralegals and case staff with AI agents to automate and assist with core tasks like 24/7 bilingual client intake, voice-agent-driven insurance claims, medical record retrieval and demand letter generation. All outputs are reviewed by experienced legal operators and integrated into the firm’s case management system, creating an efficient, end-to-end pre-litigation workflow.
