MetLife has recently expanded its global technology and operations team with two new executives. Tamar Shapiro has been appointed as the chief data and analytics officer, and Dan Antilley joins as the chief information security officer.
Shapiro brings extensive experience from her previous roles at Instagram, American Express and TZP Group. As head of analytics at Instagram, she led a team of data scientists and data engineers responsible for driving growth through launching products and features. Prior to joining MetLife, Shapiro helped increase engagement, sales and profitability at TZP Group.
Antilley has over three decades of tech industry experience from his time at Bank of America and NCR Atleos. At Bank of America, he spearheaded the company’s cybersecurity operations, cyber forensics and incident response program. Most recently, he served as chief security officer at NCR Atleos.
MetLife provides financial services, offering products such as insurance, annuities, employee benefits and asset management. It aims to support both individual and institutional clients in meeting their goals.
