The Observability Engineer designs and implements the observability fabric for AppGate, focusing on high-cardinality data pipelines and distributed tracing systems, utilizing OpenTelemetry to ensure scalability and reliability.

Build and operate the foundational AI platform: cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, model serving and MLOps, observability, SLOs, and CI/CD. Set technical direction, mentor engineers, automate infrastructure-as-code, and collaborate with data scientists and product teams to ensure reliable, scalable AI systems.

Design, build, and operate OT-focused secure remote access (ZTNA/VPN/PAM) features. Implement backend services, REST/gRPC APIs, protocol-aware policy, session governance, audit logging, and integrations with OT visibility platforms. Apply Zero Trust to industrial environments, own features end-to-end, and (for senior staff/principal) lead architecture and mentor engineers.

Design, build, and operate a greenfield AI platform and infrastructure: CI/CD, IaC, container orchestration, observability, security best practices, and MLOps. Mentor engineers, define standards, and enable safe, repeatable model and service deployment across production systems.

Own and operate the unified data platform and data lake powering fraud detection. Design, build, and run low-latency batch and streaming ingestion pipelines, ensure data quality/lineage/observability, support embedding/vector pipelines for generative AI, and manage deployment and CI/CD on Kubernetes while partnering with data science and product teams.

Designs and delivers AppGate ZTNA solutions by leading technical engagements, POCs, demos, and deployments. Collaborates with sales, engineering, product, and post-sale teams to architect integrations, automate workflows, and validate security functionality. Provides technical escalation, customer training, and feedback to prioritize product enhancements while ensuring secure, repeatable, auditable automation and integration into cloud and CI/CD environments.
