Reviews transaction-monitoring alerts, investigates suspicious activity, prepares SAR recommendations, and handles sanctions, PEP, and other high-risk cases. Translates regulations into controls and procedures, advises product and engineering teams, improves KYC/KYB and monitoring processes, supports audits and examinations, and manages relationships with regulators, banking partners, and internal stakeholders.

Own ARQ’s internal operating system, including the company-wide KPI platform, employee directory, and back-office tools. Define product strategy, roadmap, and execution; establish KPI ownership across departments; partner with engineering on architecture and schemas; and improve adoption through usage tracking and internal feedback. The role works closely with founders and cross-functional leaders to build scalable systems from scratch.

Design, build, and deploy machine learning models to detect fraud, prevent losses, and monitor risk. Work with Product, Engineering, and Operations to turn large-scale data into production-ready pipelines and model-serving solutions, monitor performance, and continuously improve model accuracy and business impact.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and microservices for fintech products. Build REST APIs, support greenfield projects and improve existing systems (card payments, treasury, transactions, crypto liquidity). Use Java and Spring Boot with Postgres, practicing TDD, DDD, and CI/CD to deliver maintainable, high-performance services.
