Participate on turnaround and restructuring engagement teams performing financial statement analysis, financial modeling, and data analysis. Produce deliverables (analyses, presentations, reports), support business development and research on distressed companies, attend trainings, and network with professionals.

Perform company, industry, and economic research; analyze financial statements; build valuation models and cash flow forecasts; prepare exhibits, memos, and narrative reports; support project delivery and client meetings while ensuring quality control of work products.

Prepare and organize tax returns and extensions under supervision, assist with tax compliance, respond to IRS notices, support ASC 740 tax accrual components, perform tax research, prepare quarterly estimates and extensions, and use Microsoft Office to document work and communicate with client service teams.

Perform audit and assurance tasks including preparing financial statements with disclosures, applying GAAP/GAAS, testing and documenting internal controls, completing BDO work papers, and researching accounting issues. Support reviews and agreed-upon procedures and travel to client sites as needed.

Perform valuation modeling and analysis for illiquid and complex securities and derivatives. Build financial models (Monte Carlo, lattice), prepare valuation reports and exhibits, conduct industry and financial research, support hedge advisory and model validation, and participate in client meetings while maintaining documentation and quality controls.

Assist audit teams through on-the-job training: learn GAAP/GAAS and BDO audit methodology, prepare and document working papers, support client communications, complete an accounting/audit research project, and contribute to team tasks while receiving coaching and feedback.

Support transfer pricing engagements by gathering client information, conducting financial and industry analyses, benchmarking intercompany transactions, preparing reports and presentations, writing technical memos, proofreading deliverables, and assisting client communications to ensure compliance with domestic and foreign tax regulations.
