Provides high-level administrative support to the VP of Engineering by managing calendars, resolving scheduling conflicts, coordinating travel, acting as a gatekeeper, handling special projects, and serving as a polished contact for internal and external stakeholders. The role requires proactive judgment, discretion, strong communication, adaptability, organization, and the ability to prioritize competing tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Own and scale revenue systems and processes: manage Salesforce data model and hygiene, integrate GTM tools, build dashboards and forecasts, support deal desk and quote-to-cash, document/improve sales processes, enable BD, and partner cross-functionally with Finance and Ops to drive pipeline health and rep performance.

Own and grow Cape’s social media presence through distinctive copywriting, editing, posting, and brand voice development. Shape privacy-focused thought leadership, translate technical features into compelling narratives, support email marketing flows, and maintain high editorial standards. Handle light operational tasks and inbound inquiries while building scalable content calendars, trackers, briefs, and systems. Video filming and editing experience is a bonus.

Lead the architecture, implementation, and team development for an edge data distribution system supporting private 5G networks. Responsibilities include designing reliable cloud-to-edge synchronization, offline resiliency, consistency and conflict resolution, security boundaries, connectivity services, technical roadmaps, hands-on engineering, customer collaboration, and recruiting and developing distributed systems engineers.

Build and lead Cape’s security technical program across detection and response, corporate security, and product security. Define strategy, priorities, metrics, roadmaps, and execution processes; manage security tooling procurement and implementation; maintain backlogs; coordinate dependencies; and translate security risks and requirements between security engineers and the broader engineering organization.

Manage HR operations across onboarding, employee support, payroll and benefits assistance, compliance, reporting, and employee records. Coordinate with Finance, Recruiting, HR, IT, Sequoia, Remote, and leave platforms. Serve as the first point of contact for HR questions, maintain accurate data, prepare reports and verification letters, support payroll processes, and improve scalable workflows through automation and process development.

Own and improve Cape's developer experience: CI/CD/build infrastructure, local dev environments, internal tooling and SDKs, AI-assisted development workflows, reliability, security-aware developer platforms (FedRAMP-adjacent), metrics, documentation, and developer productivity improvements across the engineering organization.

Build and own core privacy-first telecommunications software: resilient, secure signaling, detection/prevention of malicious signaling, fake base-stations, SPAM/Smishing, and scalable APIs and infrastructure. Deliver high-performance, reliable systems with end-to-end privacy and security.

Drive execution of complex, cross-functional programs across security, engineering, and product. Design and optimize processes, remove roadblocks, manage risks, and ensure timely, high-quality integration of technologies for Government, Enterprise, and Consumer customers.

Lead Cape's federal engineering org to architect and deliver secure, resilient, scalable networking and platform solutions for government and defense customers. Build and mentor an engineering team, translate mission requirements into deployable systems, own technical delivery and compliance, and engage directly with federal stakeholders to ensure accreditable, mission-ready communications in contested environments.

Build and maintain privacy-focused telecommunications infrastructure and deployment tooling. Own full lifecycle development, monitoring/instrumentation, high-availability systems, FedRAMP accreditation, and integration of telecom components. Shape engineering practices and balance short-term needs with long-term roadmap.

Build and maintain full-stack web applications and APIs with a security- and privacy-first mindset. Translate Figma designs to responsive frontends, design robust backend services (Go), ensure performance, testing, and monitoring, and collaborate cross-functionally to prevent signaling attacks, detect threats, and improve user workflows.

Lead Cape’s People organization to scale headcount from ~100 to 300+. Build recruiting engine, retain talent through total rewards and career frameworks, professionalize management, and implement performance, succession, and people systems. Report to the CEO and hire a Head of Recruiting while remaining hands-on with sourcing and employee sentiment.

Build and own Capes Android app from architecture through launch, focusing on privacy, security, performance, and user workflows. Collaborate across teams, maintain high code quality, implement testing and release processes, and iterate with designers to deliver a trustworthy mobile experience.

Build and own Capes iOS app using Swift and SwiftUI, from architecture through App Store launch. Implement secure, high-performance features, collaborate cross-functionally, maintain code quality, and improve user workflows while applying privacy and cryptography best practices.

Provide onsite first-line IT support for Cape's NYC office: run employee onboarding/offboarding, resolve Tier‑1 support tickets to SLA, build automations/AI workflows, manage hardware procurement and audit-ready asset inventory across offices, maintain conference-room AV and visitor systems, administer MDM and workspace suites, and support macOS/Windows/Linux devices.

Design, implement, and manage corporate security controls across identity, endpoints, network, and data. Lead IAM/SSO/MFA, EDR/MDM, email/DLP, vulnerability management, vendor risk assessments, phishing simulations, and incident investigations. Support compliance, audits, pen-tests/red-team remediation, and security culture through training and cross-functional collaboration.

Design and manage cloud and product security for AWS, perform security assessments and pen-test remediation, integrate security into DevOps/IaC, mentor engineers, and advise on compliance and threat mitigation across mobile core, applications, and cloud environments.
