The Commercial Closing Specialist manages closing tasks for real estate transactions, ensuring compliance with regulations and communication among parties. Responsibilities include overseeing the clearance process and training personnel as needed.

Prepare, file, and follow up on FHA mortgage insurance claims (Part A/B, CWCOT, Pre-Foreclosure Sale) accurately and on time. Maintain claim files and system documentation, submit claims for quality review, finalize submissions, and pursue agency payments. Apply knowledge of default servicing, foreclosure, bankruptcy, loss mitigation, and investor/agency guidelines while meeting deadlines and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Performs investor accounting reconciliations for principal, interest, taxes, and insurance accounts; researches reconciling items and remittance differences; validates interdepartmental data; resolves discrepancies; maintains custodial cash accuracy; and supports reporting deadlines and special projects. The role requires investor reporting knowledge, attention to detail, intermediate Excel and Access skills, and one to three years of related experience.
