Build and ship production machine learning systems for content abuse detection, including data pipelines, classifiers, LLM evaluations, inference infrastructure, monitoring, and model evaluation. Optimize precision, recall, latency, cost, and throughput while partnering with engineering and data teams. Develop moderator intelligence features, build training and serving platforms, establish metrics infrastructure, and mentor teammates. The role requires end-to-end ownership in a startup environment, from messy data and feature engineering through deployment and production monitoring.

Own end-to-end product design for assigned surfaces, from discovery and customer research through high-fidelity prototyping and shipped UI. Partner closely with product and engineering, translate insights into actionable Linear tickets, and help evolve the design system. Contribute to brand, website, marketing, and GTM projects as needed. Participate in design critiques, uphold craft standards, and proactively address design debt while shaping design practices at an early-stage company.

Lead and manage the Core Infrastructure engineering team: set priorities and roadmap, improve execution quality and reliability, coach and develop engineers, drive operational rigor (SLIs/SLOs), coordinate with cross-functional partners, and contribute technically to architecture and code when needed.
