Provides welcoming front-desk reception, visitor management, facility access monitoring, administrative support, data entry, phone and mail handling, room reservation and event logistics, office supply management, and coordination of basic facility needs. Supports building security by monitoring activity, following emergency procedures, maintaining visitor records, and escalating concerns. Assists division leadership with administrative tasks and serves diverse staff, visitors, vendors, and community members.

Designs and leads literacy, conflict-resolution, STEM, academic assistance, and enrichment activities for elementary afterschool participants. Collaborates with the Program Director to align programming with Common Core standards and school goals, trains and coaches staff, supports lesson planning, provides site-specific training, and contributes to youth development, leadership development, and community-building initiatives.

Leads after-school activities for school-aged children, including educational, recreational, arts, youth leadership, and community service programming. Builds positive relationships, manages groups, supports child safety and development, enforces discipline policies, maintains attendance and facility records, collaborates with staff and families, and participates in professional development and community-building efforts.

Supports high school students and young adults with individualized career training plans, workforce preparation, training-provider transitions, employer engagement, retention interventions, networking events, and career advancement planning. Maintains participant documentation, coordinates case conferencing, connects students to education and employment programs, and collaborates with school, training, and employer partners across Brooklyn sites.

Directs elementary afterschool and summer programming, including academic, recreational, arts, fitness, literacy, social-emotional, and leadership activities. Hires, supervises, trains, and evaluates staff; manages enrollment, records, budgets, compliance, and reporting. Builds partnerships with school leadership, families, funders, regulators, and community stakeholders; leads family events, parent meetings, outreach, and staff coordination. Requires extensive youth-program experience, staff supervision, administrative skills, and a bachelor’s degree in education, social work, or a related field.

Supports the Afterschool Director in supervising elementary and middle school programming, staff, student and parent engagement, health and safety compliance, documentation, databases, budgets, licensing, and stakeholder relationships. Helps lead literacy, arts, STEM, fitness, community service, and summer camp activities while maintaining contractual obligations and a positive, high-expectations environment.
