Design, build, and scale backend services powering search, recommendations, and retrieval. Develop data pipelines to ingest, normalize, and index large government and enterprise datasets. Build and ship full-stack product features using TypeScript across frontend and backend. Own and maintain self-hosted deployments across cloud and air-gapped on-prem environments. Improve security, observability, automated updates, and deployability. Support federal/defense customers on compliant architectures, contribute to product codebase, and debug complex distributed system failures.

Own full-cycle recruiting for software engineering roles; build recruiting foundation (select ATS, define workflows), source passive technical talent, track hiring metrics, leverage AI tools to accelerate sourcing and automation, partner with hiring managers, and deliver a strong candidate experience while maintaining clean pipeline data. Role is NYC‑based, in-person four days per week.

Lead product design across capture, proposal, and contract workflows. Collaborate with engineering on scope, user flows, and UX patterns. Build and maintain a scalable design system, conduct user research, translate ambiguous problems into simple interfaces, ship quickly, iterate based on feedback, and own design outcomes.
