Coordinate scripted recording sessions by organizing scripts, schedules, participant assignments, props, filming environments, and production resources. Track session progress, prepare sets, manage transitions and resets, maintain records, and resolve logistical issues alongside Directors and Tech Operations. This hands-on, in-person role requires strong organization, adaptability, communication, extended standing and walking, and carrying 20–30 pounds of equipment. Occasional evening and weekend availability is required.

Lead scripted recording sessions featuring everyday interactions with smart-home voice assistants. Guide rehearsals, coach participants on natural conversational delivery, monitor timing and turn-taking, provide real-time feedback, maintain script consistency, and coordinate with scene and technical teams. Ensure equipment, props, and participants are ready while meeting daily production targets. This in-person field role requires extended standing and walking, carrying 20–30 pounds of equipment, and occasional evening or weekend availability.

Set up, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot audio and video recording equipment for scripted recording sessions. Conduct technical checks, manage recording files and backups, maintain equipment readiness, follow standardized playbooks, and document recurring issues. Collaborate with production staff to support timely setups, scene transitions, and uninterrupted filming. The role requires standing and walking for extended periods and carrying 20–30 pounds of equipment.

Manage and develop an engineering team while owning delivery, hiring, performance, technical judgment, and escalation response. Stay hands-on with coding and architecture, use coding agents effectively, improve engineering processes, and help engineers build stronger skills in scoping, estimation, decision-making, and ownership. Balance roadmap priorities with customer commitments and turn recurring issues into lasting product improvements across HumanSignal’s AI data and annotation platforms.
