Lead moonshot projects focused on agentic customer experiences, establish appropriate human-review gates, integrate systems with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS, and GitHub CI/CD, and advise design leadership on strategy and roadmap. The role requires cross-functional leadership, technical judgment, and playbook creation in an ambiguous environment.

Own technical strategy and architectural decisions across multiple engineering squads. Design scalable distributed systems, APIs, data models, and cloud-native platforms while building shared systems that improve delivery. Partner with product and engineering leadership, resolve ambiguous technical challenges, establish AI-assisted development practices, and mentor engineers through design reviews and cross-team collaboration. Work as an SRE embedded with product teams to improve reliability by fixing application code (primarily TypeScript), building observability (Prometheus, Loki, Grafana, Alloy), defining SLIs/SLOs, leading incident response and postmortems, automating toil, and supporting deployments across on‑prem DoD and AWS environments.
