Rocket Software Benefits Overview

Leads customer-facing mainframe modernization engagements, designing and implementing Rocket Software solutions. Provides technical leadership, architecture guidance, proofs of concept, presentations, code reviews, resource planning, estimation, risk communication, and defect resolution. Works with project managers and customers to deliver complex COBOL, database, cloud, DevOps, and re-platforming initiatives. Requires strong mainframe expertise, analytical problem-solving, communication, and team leadership skills.

Owns end-to-end delivery of mainframe modernization engagements, including planning, migration, integration, testing, cutover, stabilization, and handover. Manages scope, schedule, budget, quality, change, risk, and customer communications across concurrent workstreams. Leads governance, reporting, escalation, and incident follow-up while coaching junior project managers and improving delivery methodologies, templates, and best practices. Requires independent judgment in complex, production-critical customer environments and experience with software implementation or systems integration.

The Senior Principal Product Architect leads the architecture of Workload Automation and DevOps solutions, focusing on automation technologies, hybrid cloud environments, and mentoring teams to modernize software engineering processes.
