Standard Bots Benefits Overview

Serves as Standard Bots’ first in-house legal hire, leading commercial contract drafting and negotiation across customers, suppliers, resellers, and partners. Builds contract playbooks and legal processes, advises on robotics safety, privacy, AI, defense compliance, employment, corporate matters, international expansion, strategic transactions, and IP. Manages outside counsel and legal risk while supporting business growth. The role is hybrid, requiring three days weekly onsite in Manhattan or Glen Cove, New York.

Develop and optimize advanced AI models, training pipelines, evaluation frameworks, and debugging systems for robotics applications. Lead rapid experimentation, model architecture development, fine-tuning, performance optimization, and interpretability efforts. Collaborate with engineering teams on training infrastructure and deployment. The role emphasizes ML planning for autonomous vehicles, diffusion and autoregressive models, reinforcement learning, and translating research into production systems.

Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close while building a scalable control environment and internal audit function. Lead PCAOB external audits, technical accounting under US GAAP, SEC reporting readiness, equity administration, inventory accounting, ERP implementation, and company-wide accounting policies. Partner with leadership, the board, audit committee, plant controller, and finance team while hiring and mentoring accounting staff. Improve close timelines, automate processes with AI, and support IPO readiness.
