Starr Insurance Benefits Overview

Manages insurance licensing and regulatory compliance for internal parties supporting Starr’s North American reinsurance business. Prepares license applications and renewals, communicates with regulators and internal stakeholders, maintains regulatory records, reconciles related payments, researches compliance requirements, drafts correspondence, and supports special projects while meeting deadlines and accuracy standards.

Supports regulatory operations, master data coordination, policy number administration, operational metrics reporting, invoice processing, and regulatory data submissions. The role gathers and validates data, maintains tracking tools and documentation, coordinates cross-functional stakeholders, investigates discrepancies, and ensures accurate, timely reporting and compliance activities.

Evaluates clients’ environmental risks through site inspections, loss control surveys, and technical reviews. Identifies environmental hazards, regulatory compliance issues, and pollution exposures; prepares reports and mitigation recommendations; advises clients on environmental regulations and risk management; supports underwriting, claims investigations, and pricing decisions; develops training materials; and maintains client relationships. The role requires extensive environmental risk, loss control, or environmental health and safety experience and involves regional or national field travel.
