Directs IT governance and continuous audit readiness across SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST frameworks, while automating control monitoring and evidence collection. Advises Product, Engineering, Legal, Security, and executive stakeholders on privacy, risk, and technical governance.

Leads and develops a software engineering team responsible for high-availability trading platform systems. Oversees hiring, coaching, team operations, delivery, reliability, incident response, on-call health, observability, and technical investment. Partners with Product, Engineering, infrastructure, and operations teams to guide architecture, manage trade-offs, and deliver resilient backend and distributed systems. The role requires strong people leadership, production operations experience, and technical credibility with .NET/C#, AWS, containers, and orchestration.

The Senior Tax Analyst will manage recurring U.S. and international indirect tax compliance, including sales and use tax, GST, and VAT filings. Responsibilities include preparing returns, reconciling tax data, recording journal entries, maintaining compliance calendars, coordinating with Avalara and external advisors, supporting audits and tax notices, and assisting with direct tax, payroll tax, registrations, and process automation. The role partners across Finance, Accounting, Legal, Treasury, Payroll, and Operations while helping bring compliance activities in-house.

Provides broad corporate legal support across governance, commercial and technology contracts, litigation, privacy, cybersecurity, product development, and regulatory risk. Drafts and negotiates SaaS, licensing, vendor, data processing, and trader agreements; manages outside counsel, litigation, subpoenas, corporate records, and legal research. Advises leadership and cross-functional teams, supports privacy and security incidents, and delivers internal legal and compliance training.

Build and operate full-stack trader-facing and internal applications using TypeScript, Node.js, React, Next.js, and AWS. Own features from technical design through production, focusing on reliability, scalability, security, observability, testing, and safe deployment. Collaborate with Product and Design, guide architecture, mentor engineers, participate in on-call support, and resolve production issues. Work with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, databases, payments, and identity services.

Build and ship Topstep’s mobile trading MVP using React Native and TypeScript for iOS and Android. Own features from design through release, establish reusable architecture and components, integrate GraphQL and real-time data, optimize performance and reliability, write tests, support production, and mentor engineers. Collaborate cross-functionally to create accessible, responsive mobile experiences for high-volume trading activity.

Lead and develop a software engineering team responsible for customer-facing products, payments, onboarding, internal tools, and production systems. Set technical direction, guide architecture, manage reliability and incident response, oversee delivery planning, and partner with Product, Design, QA, infrastructure, and business stakeholders. The role includes hiring, coaching, performance management, capacity planning, operational excellence, and accountability for system quality, availability, performance, and delivery outcomes.

Own and evolve core areas of TopstepX, a real-time futures trading platform. Define product strategy, lead complex initiatives from discovery through delivery, prioritize trader needs, write requirements, manage roadmaps, and partner with engineering, design, risk, compliance, operations, and support. The role emphasizes platform reliability, performance, resilience, measurable outcomes, and intuitive trader experiences across market data, order management, risk, and performance workflows.

Lead development of automated API, UI, and end-to-end tests for a real-time trading platform. Extend AI-assisted test generation, build scalable CI/CD test frameworks for order lifecycles and market-data streams, reduce flakiness, triage failures, mentor engineers, and drive quality and testability across the product.

Build, own, and operate cloud-native .NET services powering real-time trading, market data, and brokerage integrations. Ship features end-to-end, write tests, participate in on-call rotations, improve observability, and occasionally contribute to React/TypeScript frontend work.
