Manage global payroll operations across assigned geographies, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant processing. Lead a payroll team, oversee statutory filings, tax payments, reconciliations, accounting entries, audits, vendors, and employee inquiries. Support the transition from fragmented providers to a global payroll platform, improve policies and procedures, and drive operational efficiency and compliance.

Partner with managers and employees on HR expertise, employee relations, HR operations, organizational changes, and employee lifecycle initiatives. Maintain accurate HR records and HRIS data, manage HR tickets, support performance and development programs, ensure employment-law compliance, and help build scalable People frameworks, documentation, and automated processes for a global organization.

Own general ledger accounting and financial reporting for Trustly entities in the Americas. Responsibilities include month- and year-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, US GAAP reporting, audit coordination, internal controls, compliance, process improvement, and collaboration with Tax, Treasury, FP&A, and other finance teams.

Re-engineer business workflows for AI, automation, and virtual-agent deployment. Establish operational baselines, map processes, identify bottlenecks, redesign workflows, and build Finance-validated business cases. Track speed and quality metrics, guide production rollouts, identify regulated workflows requiring compliance review, and lead frontline change management, training, and communication. The role initially focuses on redesigning a Customer Operations disputes or chargebacks workflow.

Own company-wide AI adoption through cohort rollouts, champion networks, enablement resources, training, and communications. Build and govern Trustly’s knowledge taxonomy, source-of-truth standards, ownership workflows, and content review processes. Evaluate and implement a next-generation knowledge platform, migrate fragmented content, and connect reliable knowledge sources to Claude and other AI tools. Partner with Governance and Compliance on content classification, access control, and regulated data handling.

Lead and mentor a team building, deploying, and monitoring machine learning models for fraud, account takeover, and ACH return risk. Develop production models and real-time features, design experiments, quantify financial impact, and own model performance and governance. Partner with Risk, Product, Engineering, and Finance on decisioning strategy, loss forecasting, explainability, and system reliability. Hire and develop technical talent while presenting model performance, risks, and roadmap recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Lead and mentor Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers while building production models for fraud, ACH return risk, and account takeover. Own the model roadmap, experimentation, monitoring, governance, and financial impact of risk decisions. Partner with Risk, Product, Engineering, Finance, and executive stakeholders to optimize approval rates, fraud losses, customer experience, and merchant outcomes in a low-latency payments environment.

Analyze and optimize payment products through A/B and multivariate testing, data modeling, machine learning classification, KPI development, dashboards, and deep-dive analysis. Partner with global Product and Data Engineering teams to improve product strategy, data quality, feature tracking, and reporting. Translate technical findings into business recommendations and mentor stakeholders on experimentation and data interpretation.

Leads Trustly’s global Revenue Operations and Enablement function, consolidating fragmented regional processes into a unified GTM operating system. Owns CRM architecture and governance, forecasting, KPIs, compensation structure, territories, quotas, enablement, sales kickoffs, and GTM communications. Builds standardized global processes while preserving regional execution flexibility, improves seller productivity and ramp time, and applies AI to prospecting, forecasting, enablement, and CRM intelligence.
