Leads laboratory and technically complex Life Sciences design projects from concept through construction documentation and administration. Responsibilities include lab planning, technical coordination, client engagement, code and regulatory compliance, consultant coordination, QA/QC, presentations, business development support, and mentoring junior designers. The role requires strong Revit and technical documentation skills, multidisciplinary collaboration, and the ability to maintain design intent through construction.

Generate and qualify leads through cold calling, email outreach, networking, and research. Book appointments for senior sales staff, develop the sales pipeline, manage leads, analyze lead sources, and nurture prospective client relationships. Provide market intelligence, support client strategies, collaborate across teams, and ensure engagement aligns with Unispace’s brand. The role focuses on B2B business development for commercial design-build and workplace projects, with an expectation to work in the New York studio four days per week.

The Managing Director will lead the New York studio, focusing on team development, strategic planning, client relationships, and operational excellence while driving business growth and client satisfaction.
