Requires academic credit eligibility and hands-on support for festivals and events.

Lead and grow national advertising sales by directly selling print, digital, and event sponsorships; define and execute national sales strategy; coach and manage account executives; build pipeline, forecast performance, recruit and train staff; collaborate with marketing and operations to support sales initiatives and report results to senior leadership.

Write and shape The Village Voice brand voice across digital, print, and events. Produce long- and short-form copy, headlines, taglines, and campaign messaging. Collaborate with marketing and design to develop concepts, client partnership stories, collateral, ads, proposals, promotions, and social content under tight deadlines.

Sell print, digital, SEO and event sponsorships to drive new revenue. Prospect and close new business, manage and grow accounts, build relationships with local retailers, clubs, restaurants, brands and ad agencies, and sell digital advertising solutions to SMBs.
