At McKinney, we believe in creating unfair attention for brands. Behind every breakthrough idea is a team that understands the business, the audience, and the opportunity. We’re looking for curious, strategic, relationship-driven future leaders to join us for Summer 2026.

If you’re the kind of person who loves connecting dots, solving problems, building relationships, and turning great ideas into real-world impact — we want to meet you.

This isn’t a coffee-run internship. You’ll work on real business with real teams for real clients.

What You’ll Do

Partner with creatives, strategists, producers, and media teams to help bring campaigns to life

Support day-to-day client communication and relationship management

Assist in developing briefs, timelines, meeting notes, and project trackers

Participate in brainstorms and internal reviews (yes, your voice matters)

Help manage deliverables across social, digital, film, experiential, and emerging platforms

Ensure projects stay organized, on schedule, and aligned with client objectives

Bring cultural insights and thoughtful questions that strengthen the work

Support presentation development and potentially attend client meetings

Who You Are

A rising junior, senior, recent grad, or graduate student pursuing advertising, marketing, communications, business, or a related field

Naturally organized and detail-oriented, without losing sight of the big picture

An excellent communicator — clear, confident, and thoughtful (written and verbal)

Curious about brands, business strategy, and how ideas translate into results

Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working across disciplines

Comfortable balancing multiple projects and deadlines

Interested in the intersection of creativity and commerce

What You’ll Gain

Hands-on experience supporting campaigns for national and global brands

Exposure to client partnership, creative development, and production

Mentorship from experienced account leaders

A deeper understanding of how strategy and creativity connect to business impact

A strong foundation in agency operations and client services

A network of teammates who will champion your growth

Our Point of View

We’re committed to building a culture that reflects the world we’re speaking to. We strongly encourage applicants of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences to apply. Different perspectives build stronger partnerships — and better work.

Salary

We offer a competitive salary of $18/hour for up to 40 hours/week.

Right to Work in the US

You must be authorized to work in the US for any employer. At this time, we are not providing or sponsoring assistance with obtaining work authorization.

We are in the office Tuesday – Thursday. We look forward to meeting you!

Ready to help build something iconic?

Submit your video, resume, and a brief note telling us what inspires you right now and why you’re interested in Account Management.

The Summer 2026 program runs from June 3 – August 12.
We start all employees on Wednesdays (but don’t worry — we know some of you may have prior obligations. Please don’t let that stop you from applying!).
