Summary

DLA Piper is seeking an Associate to join our Tax practice group beginning in Fall 2026 in our Boston, Washington DC, Los Angeles, New York, Palo Alto, San Francisco, or Seattle offices. This opportunity is open to current Tax LLM students expecting to graduate in Spring 2026.

As an Associate in our Tax group, you will work on complex domestic and international tax matters, including:

• Corporate transactions

• Strategic tax planning

• Tax controversy and dispute resolution

You’ll collaborate closely with partners and senior attorneys on high-profile client engagements across diverse industries, gaining hands-on experience in sophisticated tax issues.

Physical Demands
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Pay Transparency

The firm’s expected salary for this position is $225,000 per year depending on the candidate’s geographic market location. The compensation offered for employment will also be dependent on other factors including the candidate’s experience, skills, educational and professional background, and overall qualifications. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k).
