If you’re new to the workforce and have a passion for marketing and communications, SHADOW’s Account Coordinator position is an entry-level role that will give you a front row seat to the industry. As the backbone of client accounts, ACs are responsible for keeping teams organized on an administrative level, while also delivering media results and contributing both strategically and creatively. It is an intensive role for those with energy, passion and a strong desire to learn and grow in this industry.

What You Bring:

  • Diligence - You are organized, detail oriented and invested in your work. You approach your responsibilities thoughtfully and take pride in setting your teams up for success.
  • Passion - You have a passion for SHADOW’s areas of focus-- hospitality, fashion, entertainment, lifestyle-- and a strong point of view as a consumer in those realms. (There’s nothing worse than someone with no opinion!)
  • Competence - SHADOW’s client work is dynamic and multifaceted - you must be comfortable juggling responsibilities and meeting deadlines, and doing so proactively and independently.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with Muckrack, Cision and Fashion GPS

What You Do:

  • Account administration - Keep the team on track by ensuring that they’re on top of their communication, aware of deadlines and armed with the assets and information they need. You’ll schedule and manage calendars, maintain product inventory, facilitate product and imagery requests, and record and circulate call notes.
  • Results Tracking - Routinely monitor, compile and showcase the team’s work for the client through daily media monitoring and clipping, and weekly results reporting
  • Agency administration - Support the agency by diligently maintaining its databases, lists and systems, and avoiding redundancies and inefficiencies.  You maintain contact lists, manage mailers and support upper management with additional tasks needed

A quick note: This job description is meant to provide an overview of the role and its core responsibilities, but it’s not a complete list of everything the position may involve. As our teams and business continue to grow, responsibilities may shift and evolve based on company and client needs.
