This role is primarily responsible for coordinating and managing our internal pre and post sale process to get the deal across the line – working with all BDG partners and managing systems to accelerate the sales process and improve our speed-to-market.
The role reports into our SVP, Sales and will partner with Marketing, Operations, and additional cross-functional teams to ensure all steps of the sales process are completed in a timely manner. The role must understand the intricacies of our sales process, be able to identify when problems arise, and communicate critical updates to cross-functional teams. Digital media, sales, and/or marketing experience is a plus to help navigate the complex landscape of our deals and campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with sales to develop pitch decks for deals under $175K, outside of standard marketing support.
- Collaborate with W Brand Marketing to create and refresh sales templates for luxury & Prestige categories.
- Partner with BDG Marketing teams to ensure materials align with brand standards for luxury and Jewelry & Watches.
- Manage, as needed, cross-functional responsibilities for the sales process from pitch to campaign delivery, acting as a consistent voice across internal teams.
- Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the sales team and Publisher, including calendar management, expense reports, print issue delivery with ad/edit tagging, meeting preparation, and comp list management alongside the Business Director and Paris-based assistant.
- Partner with the Paris-based assistant to coordinate SOM and category reports, share schedules, and support the distribution of marketing materials to the Prestige team.
- Ensuring completion of all deliverables on time and in alignment with SLA’s; uncovering obstacles, avoiding delays, collaborating to provide solutions, and sharing timely updates to keep the team on track.
- Own the end-to-end internal workflow for deal budgeting and revisions, ensuring media plans meet both client objectives and internal margin requirements; coordinate with sellers through DealDesk and Boostr, maintain up-to-date flight dates, and work closely with sales and edit on campaign execution.
- Owning specific, critical steps in the sales process, including but not limited to:
- IO management: Once a DIGITAL IO is received, work with internal teams, planners and legal to ensure T&C’s are correct, all documents are uploaded and the campaign is set with no issues.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree required2-3 years relevant professional experience, ideally in the media industry and/or in a marketing or account management role
- Experience with project management and creative problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, able effectively work and communicate cross-functionally with various levels of the organization
- Excellent organizational skills providing the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and set priorities under tight timeframes
- Ability and desire to understand, navigate, and guide others through complex processes
- Self-driven with ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environmentHigh energy and teamwork mentality is a must
