POSITION OVERVIEW  

An Account Coordinator (AC) is an early-career, client-facing role that supports the job functions and administration of an Account Executive (AE). This position plays a critical role in supporting sales execution and internal coordination and is ideal for someone with prior professional experience who is looking to continue building a career in sales at Orange Barrel Media. The Account Coordinator often serves as a conduit for internal communications between departments and performs day-to-day tasks to ensure the smooth operations of the sales team. Candidates should be interested in pursuing a career in sales, as Account Coordinators will further develop their skills through hands-on experience and exposure that can lead to advancement into an Account Executive role over time.

Your responsibilities will include:  

  • Inventory Management: Maintain and update sales inventory, ensuring accurate availability for advertising campaigns.
  • Campaign Support and Tracking: Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of client campaigns, tracking their progress, and ensuring timely delivery of results.
  • Proposal and Contracting Duties: Collaborate with Account Executives to prepare proposals, draft contracts, and manage client agreements.
  • Client Interaction: Shadow Account Executives during client presentations and meetings, both virtually and in-person, to understand client needs and sales strategies.
  • Event Coordination: Help coordinate and attend industry events, social functions, and meetings with advertising agencies and brands across the U.S.
  • Ad Hoc Project Management: Lead and assist on various special projects that support the sales and marketing teams, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are achieved.

  • You are a team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to support colleagues across departments.

Skills preferred:  

  • 3-5 years of prior work experience. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
  • Strong written communication skills: You are comfortable writing for various audiences, from internal stakeholders to external clients.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: You have a strong command of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and are able to create polished presentations and track key sales data.
  • Experience in project management or related organizational roles is a plus.

This is a full-time exempt position with a base salary range of $65,000 - $75,000 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual performance bonus. OBM is an equal opportunity employer and provides competitive salary/incentive compensation and benefits, 401k match, and expense account.
