The Role

We’re looking for a dynamic, experienced Account Director to lead client accounts and drive business development initiatives in our growing New York satellite office. This is a key leadership position for someone who thrives on both strategic oversight and relationship building - someone who knows how to deliver impactful campaigns and bring in new business.

Responsibilities

  • Client Strategy & Leadership: Serve as the senior point of contact for clients. Shape and lead integrated PR strategies that support their business goals.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, lead pitch efforts, and help grow the agency’s presence in the US market.
  • Team Management: Oversee account managers and executives, mentoring and motivating teams to deliver high-quality work.
  • Campaign Oversight: Ensure flawless execution of PR campaigns, monitoring timelines, budgets, and KPIs. Continuously optimize based on results.
  • Thought Leadership: Offer strategic counsel to clients, staying ahead of industry trends to proactively provide value.
  • Reporting & Insights: Deliver clear, data-backed reporting to clients, turning performance metrics into actionable insights.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of PR/communications experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role at an agency.
  • Proven success in business development and client growth.
  • Strong grasp of the Web3, fintech, or emerging tech industries (or a deep interest and willingness to learn fast).
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable leading teams, managing senior clients, and wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced environment.
  • Based in New York or willing to relocate (remote position)
