Brilliant, one of the most respected and rapidly growing agencies focused on family-oriented brands whose motto is “Work Hard - Play Hard - Laugh Hard”, seeks a Full-time Account Director to help support the agency’s growing, award-winning full funnel marketing agency. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of full-time PR agency experience in the consumer goods industry.

We give our team the resources they need to get their work done without having to sit in a cubicle or stuffy office.

Position Overview: 

The Account Director is responsible for executing public relations strategies to achieve client goals. This role involves day-to-day client communication, media relations, creative ideation, trend jacking, and project management. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management:  Fosters positive working relationship and client trust through ongoing, consistent strategic counsel.  
    • Serves as a primary point of contact for integrated marketing clients needs across the agency's client portfolio.
       
  • Project Management:  Supports the VP level team members in development and oversight of new product launches, brand campaigns, and incremental initiatives.  Tracks timelines, budgets, and resources.  Responsible for quality control and timely delivery of work. 
     
  • Strategic Planning:   Develops and implements PR strategies aligned with client goals. 
    • Collaborates with cross-functional r teams to develop integrated marketing campaigns that drive engagement and brand visibility.
    • Presents strategic recommendations to clients and internal teams.
       
  • Team Leadership:  Supervise and mentor account team members.  Delegate tasks and provide constructive feedback.  Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
     
  • Events / Activations:  Leads virtual or live media and influencer events, creative media mailers, etc.  Develops decks and leads client presentations.
     
  • PR and Marketing Industry Trends:  Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.  
    • Continuously monitor social and cultural trends, identifying new audience opportunities, emerging platform behaviors, and innovative content strategies to keep brands ahead of the curves

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of PR agency experience in the consumer goods industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A proactive, self-starter attitude with a passion for staying ahead of trends
