Position Summary: The Senior Account Manager will be a resource for our PEO customers, responsible for developing and executing a strategic business plan to include revenue growth, member retention, achievement of financial objectives for existing Professional Employer Organization (PEO) customers. This is a dynamic role as it encompasses the end to end sales and service support for a defined book of business.

Required Qualifications:

  • Meets assigned sales and retention objectives and seeks opportunities for profitable growth
  • Acts as a strategic partner to customers to optimize the positioning of Aetna's products and services to attain profitability and membership objectives.
  • Retains and cultivates a profitable book of business by coordinating the renewal process.
  • Works collaboratively within Aetna and across business functions to ensure that customer needs are understood and key issues are addressed.
  • Recommends solutions based on data.
  • Leads the operational end to end support for a defined book of PEO customers.
  • Collaborates with account team members and functional support areas on complex product or service issues to ensure clients’ needs are met.
  • Follows through on outstanding issues to the point of resolution.
  • Demonstrates proactive ability to diagnose and fix root cause of service problems.
  • Must obtain a health license within 90 days in the state you reside.

* Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understands medical/dental/vision products
  • Understands Fully Insured funding arrangement
  • Experience in building customer relationships and internal relationships
  • Strong Organization and Communication Skills
  • Experience using financial data to evaluate strategic solutions
  • Understands Aetna's customer operation processes including: Eligibility, Billing, Plan Set Up, Drafting

5+ years industry experience in a customer facing role

PEO knowledge is helpful (but not required)

Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$54,300.00 - $159,120.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
