About the Role:

Socure is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Account Executive Director to join our State, Local and Higher Education (SLED) team. This position will report directly to our Head of Public Sector Sales and will be responsible for driving revenue growth for the Midwest Region through direct pursuits and strategic partnerships.

This position requires strong selling skills and an entrepreneurial spirit to bring value to SLED customers and technology partners and drive growth for the business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record surpassing revenue targets in the SLED market, and be well versed in consultative sales processes for SaaS solutions. The candidate should have deep knowledge and experience of the SLED market’s buying criteria, procurement trends/tendencies and the partner/channel ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales efforts and surpass revenue targets, contributing significantly to the company's growth and success in the Midwest Region of the SLED Market.

  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the SLED market, specifically in the areas of complex data analytics, big data, machine learning, fraud, risk, identity, and security.

  • Develop and maintain a robust prospect pipeline by building new networks and expanding existing ones, ensuring a steady flow of leads.

  • Demonstrate expertise in the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closure, and ensuring customer success post-sale.

  • Proven ability to consistently achieve sales quotas and goals while effectively managing accounts and/or channels.

  • Collaborate with the product team to understand new-to-market products and effectively communicate their value propositions to potential customers.

  • Utilize strong analytical skills to understand customer needs and propose tailored solutions that align with their requirements.

  • Exercise strong collaboration skills to build valuable and long-term client, partner and stakeholder relationships.

  • Display proficiency in forecasting commitments with high accuracy to support effective planning and resource allocation.

  • Be willing to travel up to 50% of the time to meet with clients and prospects and build strong relationships.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of successful experience selling analytics-driven SaaS solutions with specific expertise in the SLED market.

  • Background in complex data analytics, big data, machine learning, fraud, risk, identity, and security in providing insights to SLED clients.

  • Demonstrated ability in developing Partnerships/Channels to expand market reach, penetration, pipeline and revenue.

  • Proven ability to surpass both revenue and pipeline growth targets.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to effectively interact with clients, partners and stakeholders at all levels.

  • Exceptional leadership and relationship development skills

  • Prior experience in the startup space is a plus.

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in business or a related discipline.
