Pinwheel - Building the future of financial services in partnership with the biggest brands

“I love my banking app!” said no one, ever.

Pinwheel is on a mission to change that. We believe banks and financial service providers represent the greatest opportunity to build 10x better experiences, especially in the AI age. We’re building the next generation of financial products alongside some of the biggest names in the market including Robinhood, DoorDash, Chime, Cash App, Credit Karma, American Express, Discover, Intuit, Acorns, Visa and more.

If you’re excited by the idea of having your work touch and impact the lives of hundreds of millions of consumers, Pinwheel is the place for you.

If you get stoked about building products alongside the biggest brands in the world, Pinwheel is the place for you.

If you want to join a scrappy, hustling team that is obsessed with defining the future of financial services, Pinwheel is the place for you!

Pinwheel has raised $77M from top-tier investors such as Coatue, Notable, First Round, Upfront, Primary, American Express, Franklin Templeton, Indeed, Semper Virens and more.

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a scrappy, high-performing dealmaker with a strong product mindset to join Pinwheel as we enter Phase 2 of our growth journey. In this role, you won’t just be maintaining accounts—you’ll be hunting for new opportunities, identifying key decision-makers at top financial institutions, credit unions, and fintechs, and driving revenue growth with precision and tenacity. Your deep understanding of our product and its technical capabilities will enable you to craft solutions that resonate with client needs. Your impact will be felt across the company as you help shape our sales strategy, mentor your teammates, and expand Pinwheel's enterprise footprint. If you thrive on building from the ground up, closing deals that matter, and connecting product innovation with business growth, this is your opportunity to make a real difference.

  • You are someone who is relentless in your pursuit of your goals and equally resourceful in achieving them, often finding the clever, non-obvious solution to any given problem
  • You thrive in situations where the answer is unclear, things aren’t working right, and the path to achieving success seems really hard because you take pride in overcoming hard things
  • You are able to quickly synthesize a lot of information and data and come up with an action plan to direct yourself and those around you to success
  • You regularly spend time figuring out how to improve yourself and your skills in your personal pursuit of greatness, however you define it
  • Whenever you encounter a problem, you dig unreasonably deep to figure out the underlying root causes and mechanics before you move towards a solution
What will you be doing?

Drive Revenue with Purpose:

  • Consistently meet or exceed your quarterly revenue targets as we scale throughout 2025.
  • Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline with opportunities valued at 3x your quota.
  • Close deals with confidence, maintaining a 25% or higher win rate.

Expand Pinwheel's Market Reach:

  • Break into both fintech disruptors, established financial institutions, and credit unions within your first six months.
  • Strategically plan and execute territory initiatives that drive growth and visibility.
  • Identify and unlock cross-selling opportunities to deepen our impact within existing accounts.

Build Meaningful Relationships:

  • Establish trusted partnerships with C-level executives and key decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with our Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Legal teams to keep deals moving forward seamlessly.

Master the Pinwheel Way:

  • Deep-dive into our sales methodology and tech stack during your first 90 days.
  • Keep CRM records precise and up-to-date for clear visibility.
  • Drive efficient sales cycles, achieving an average of 90 days or less.

Be the Market Expert:

  • Stay sharp on industry trends and shifts in the competitive landscape.
  • Share insights with product and marketing teams to fuel smarter strategies.
  • Play a key role in shaping sales best practices as we continue to evolve.
What experience, skills, and qualifications are necessary?
  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise SaaS sales in fintech or banking with a consistent track record of exceeding quotas and driving strategic deals.
  • Experience leading and closing $80K+ ACV deals with executive stakeholders across business, product, legal, compliance, InfoSec, and marketing
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams through complex sales cycles, including legal and InfoSec reviews.
  • Strong Customer Centricity and Product Thinker
  • Proven experience in driving sales from zero to first transaction
  • Experience using Salesforce, sales engagement platforms, structured sales methodologies (MEDDICC, Challenger, etc.), and new AI tools transforming the sales tech stack.
  • Comfortable working onsite 3 days/week at our NYC HQ

Why join Pinwheel?
