Title: Account Executive

About M&A Deals: M&A Deals is the new premier deal origination and market mapping tool designed specifically for private markets. It combines the longstanding trusted SPS data, the proprietary, forward-looking M&A news from The Deal and the aware winning With Intelligence’s fund level details to empower our clients with more strategic investment decisions, identify new proprietary opportunities, and understand where their market coverage gaps are. As we launch this new product and expand our scope, we are seeking a motivated and skilled Account Executive to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Development: Identify and engage prospective clients within the private equity space. Utilize a consultative approach to understand their needs and present tailored solutions.

Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with clients and industry professionals, acting as a trusted advisor to guide them in maximizing the value of our platform.

Market Insight: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and client needs to effectively position SPS in the market.

Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align strategies and ensure seamless customer experiences.

Performance Tracking: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecast opportunities, and track performance against targets using our CRM system.

Continuous Improvement: Engage in ongoing learning and skill development to enhance personal performance and contribute to team success.

Requirements:

  • Proven related experience, preferably selling related solutions in the financial services or private equity sector.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with a knack for engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting strategies as needed to meet evolving client needs and market conditions.
  • Willingness to collaborate with colleagues across departments, sharing insights and supporting collective goals.
  • Initiative: Self-motivated and driven, with a passion for helping clients succeed and a desire to contribute positively to the team culture.

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates) 

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is up to $90,000 per year. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.  In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.
