Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Risk Management team at Marsh. This role will be based in Melbourne. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The Account Executive will assist Senior Account Executives and Principals in all aspects of client services, including client contact, administration, technical support, and business development, while reporting to the Managing Principal responsible for managing the team.

We will count on you to:

  • Work in a team-based servicing environment, supporting Risk Management clients through their insurance renewals and annual insurance cycle.

  • Provide support to Senior Account Executives and Principals with portfolio management.

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and management of risk management and insurance programmes that accurately address client needs.

  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers, acquiring and understanding their business and insurance needs.

  • Identify products that benefit clients and meet their needs, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, policy accounting information, and other documentation.

  • Liaise and negotiate with clients, underwriters, and claims managers while developing a basic technical understanding of relevant classes of insurance.

  • Tier 1 qualification

  • Experience in an insurance broking, claims, or underwriting environment

  • A dedication to quality in all aspects of work performance and client services, with a passion for customer service.

  • Strong teamwork skills, maintaining solid working relationships with colleagues, clients, insurers, and other stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with various audiences.

  • Computer literacy, including intermediate skills in MS Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
