We're building something big. We want you in early.

Pathways is a fast growing, venture-backed climate tech company building the data infrastructure that makes sustainable construction possible. The built environment accounts for nearly 40% of global carbon emissions, and most of the construction industry still lacks the tools to reliably measure impact. We're changing that.

We're a small team who care deeply about the problems we're solving, move fast, and set ambitious targets. We've raised $10M to date, backed by leading investors like Sorenson, Positive Ventures, and strategic partners from within the industry, and doubled in size last year. The market is moving and we're scaling to meet it.

The future of construction doesn't have to choose between sustainability and progress; we're building the tools to prove it. Join us.

This is a high-ownership, field-first sales role for someone that can make an immediate impact in the ready-mix market.

What You'll Do

You'll own the field. You'll be the face of Pathways across the ready-mix industry, and you'll be measured, first and above all, on your ability to build relationships and generate opportunities in our core segment.

  • Be the face of Pathways in the industry. Show up at associations, events, and plants. Be recognized as someone who understands ready-mix, cares about its producers, and wants the best for the industry.

  • Generate your own pipeline. Self-source opportunities through your network, industry relationships, event presence, and outbound. This is the core of the role.

  • Own the full cycle. Run discovery, demo, proposal, and close across new-business opportunities in every segment.

  • Win the room on our biggest accounts. Operate independently and credibly in front of our largest, most strategic producers. No hand-holding required.

  • Bring the field back inside. Feed what you hear from producers into our product and GTM priorities so we keep building what the industry actually needs.

What We're Looking For
  • Experience: 6+ years in sales or business development, ideally 4+ years in the built environment.

  • Industry credibility: You can walk into a ready-mix association event within 60 days of starting, speak the language immediately, and be recognized as someone who genuinely understands the industry and wants the best for it.

  • Field-first: You're comfortable living on the road and being the face of a company. You love meeting people and going new places.

  • Senior and autonomous: You're someone we can trust in front of our largest accounts on day one. You operate independently and own outcomes.

  • A hunter: You self-source and you close. You measure yourself by the relationships you build and the opportunities you create.

  • Tech-fluent enough: You don't need to be technical, but you're comfortable working in a fast, software-driven startup and using modern tools to stay organized and effective.

Why Pathways?
  • You'll get in early at the company that's winning this category, with real ownership over how we grow in it.

  • You'll work directly with GTM leadership to shape how Pathways shows up across the ready-mix industry.

  • You'll have the autonomy to operate like an owner in the field, not a rep on a script.

  • You'll help producers win work in a market that's demanding more of them every year — and you'll be rewarded for it.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary: $170K-$210K OTE, uncapped variable, plus equity

  • Benefits: Health insurance, 401k, unlimited PTO
