Own the complete B2B sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through negotiation, closing, and expansion. Build relationships with brands, advertisers, and agencies; manage pipeline and forecasting; communicate product value; and collaborate with leadership, product, and customer success. Help create SideShift’s sales playbook, messaging, processes, tools, and AI-driven workflows while operating independently in a fast-paced creator economy and AdTech environment.

SideShift is building the operating system for the creator economy.

We connect brands with creators and make it dramatically easier to discover talent, run campaigns, track performance, and pay creators. Today, more than 1M creators and 3,000+ brands use SideShift, and more than $100M has been paid to creators through the platform.

SideShift is hiring multiple Account Executives because we're drowning in inbound interest. You’ll own the sales process end-to-end—from identifying and engaging high-potential prospects through closing and expanding relationships.

We’re looking for someone who understands the AdTech ecosystem, has been the first sales hire at a startup, and thrives in a fast-moving environment where you’re expected to figure things out rather than wait for a playbook.

Responsibilities
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and close.

  • Build relationships with brands, advertisers, agencies, and other key players across the advertising ecosystem.

  • Understand each prospect’s goals and pain points, and clearly articulate how SideShift can drive measurable value for their business.

  • Build and manage a high-quality pipeline, maintaining strong follow-up and accurate forecasting.

  • Partner closely with leadership, product, and customer success to turn customer feedback into better positioning, product decisions, and go-to-market strategy.

  • Help build the sales playbook from the ground up—testing messaging, processes, tools, and AI-driven workflows to make the team more effective as we scale.

Requirements
  • 2–10 years of experience in sales, with meaningful experience in the creator economy, AdTech, MarTech, or a closely related industry.

  • Track record of owning and closing B2B deals and consistently delivering against revenue targets.

  • Strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem and how brands and agencies evaluate advertising technology.

  • Excellent communicator who can build credibility with both day-to-day operators and senior decision-makers.

  • High ownership and bias toward action—you’re comfortable operating without a fully built-out sales process or extensive support infrastructure.

  • Excited to use AI and automation aggressively to prospect, research accounts, personalize outreach, manage pipeline, and become a dramatically more productive seller.

The Process
  • Initial convo with our recruiting team;

  • Conversation with Jeff Lurie, Head of Sales;

  • Conversation with Nick Lawton, Co-founder and CEO;

  • Onsite

  • Offer stage! After agreeing on employment terms, we'll talk to 3 references and send over final documents for signature.
