ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Account Executive to be a key player in our growth strategy. This role will focus on generating new business from net new clients through proactive outreach and outbound sales activities. You will be responsible for identifying high-potential leads, qualifying them to ensure they are a good fit for our solutions, and advancing them through the sales funnel. By combining lead generation and early-stage sales activities, you’ll help build a strong pipeline that drives SaaS revenue. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to develop in a high-impact, fast-paced sales environment.

While we prioritize candidates based in or near NYC, we’re also open to remote team members based in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Miami, and Philadelphia, who possess the right experience and mindset to excel in a distributed environment.

At Extend, you’ll:

  • Research and identify target accounts within key verticals or markets through cold calls, emails, social media, and other outreach strategies.
  • Develop and execute effective outbound strategies tailored to different buyer personas and industry needs.
  • Engage decision makers in meaningful conversations to understand their pain points and business needs. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospects to ensure long-term engagement.
  • Schedule meetings or demos and close deals directly if full-cycle.
  • Leverage sales tools and CRM systems to accurately maintain and track activities, opportunities, and progress through the sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams and provide feedback to improve lead quality and messaging.
  • Continuously improve sales techniques through regular coaching and self-reflection.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, product updates, and competitors. 

THE CANDIDATE 

  • 3+ years of proven success in an SDR or sales development role, with a focus on outbound sales (B2B preferred).
  • Familiarity with SaaS products and solutions.
  • Strong resilience and persistence - comfortable handling rejection.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales tools (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to think creatively and strategically.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills.

The salary range for this role is $50,000 - $70,000. Your final base salary will be determined based on various factors which may include, but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications. This role is eligible for commission subject to Extend’s Sales Incentive Plan.
