Compensation

  • Year 1 -> $140,000
  • Year 2 -> $215,000
  • Year 3 -> $340,000
  • Year 4 -> $415,000
  • Year 5 -> $465,000-$515,000+

The above figures are conservative estimates; commissions are uncapped, and accelerators and other incentives provide the opportunity to earn beyond these amounts. Year 1 and 2 OTEs are flexible and can be adjusted based on experience and overall fit. 

Title: Account Executive

We are seeking Chicago-based Account Executives to work with the largest CRE firms and manufacturers in the country. 

About this Job

As a sales Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and closing deals.

We're seeking a dynamic AE who can build rapport with prospective clients and articulate a unique value proposition. If you thrive in a results-driven setting and have a passion for hunting down deals, this is the role for you. While leveraging any existing relationships is beneficial, be prepared to engage in proactive prospecting through cold calls and emails.

Objectives of this Role
  • Acquire new customers and expand accounts
  • Develop meeting lead and closing ability 
  • Gain proficiency in the energy market

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Drive new business growth by managing prospects from discovery through close, while positioning yourself as a trusted energy advisor
  • Develop account plans that align with Energy CX’s overall strategy, identifying key decision-makers, buying processes, pain points, and opportunities
  • Build relationships with customers to understand their goals and desired business outcomes as you work to expand accounts
  • Effectively communicate Energy CX's value proposition to potential customers
  • Own the full sales cycle, from scheduling exploratory meetings through closing
    • The BDR team will provide most exploratory meetings once fully ramped

Skills & Qualifications 

  • 2+ years in sales (base salary will depend on experience)
  • Proven track record of success 
  • Highly Personable - someone who can connect with anyone and develop rapport 
  • GRIT - a demonstrated record of consistent performance
  • Hunter mentality with a passion for securing new logos across new categories
