About the Role
We are looking for an Account Executive to help scale Baselayer’s go-to-market motion and drive revenue growth. This role owns the full sales cycle and works closely with founders, product, and GTM leadership to refine positioning, messaging, and sales execution.
This is a high-impact role for someone who wants meaningful ownership, fast growth, and the opportunity to help build a category-defining company from an early stage. This role reports directly to the Head of Sales.
What You’ll Do
Own the full sales cycle including prospecting, qualification, discovery, demos, pilots, negotiation, and close
Build and manage a healthy pipeline across SMB, mid-market, and or enterprise accounts
Execute outbound prospecting sequences to generate new opportunities
Lead discovery conversations to deeply understand customer pain points and align Baselayer’s solutions
Run high-quality product demos and manage customer trials or pilots
Partner closely with Product and Engineering to share customer feedback and influence roadmap decisions
Collaborate with GTM leadership to refine positioning, messaging, and sales motions
Represent Baselayer with professionalism, credibility, and thought leadership in the market

Required Experience and Skills
2 to 4 or more years of experience in SaaS sales, fintech, financial services, or a highly analytical GTM role
A consistent track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
Experience running complex, consultative sales cycles with technical or analytical buyers
Strong discovery, storytelling, and objection-handling skills
Comfort operating in ambiguity and rapidly evolving environments
A proactive, self-directed mindset where you create momentum rather than wait for direction

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range of $95,000 to $145,000

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission (if applicable), equity and benefits. The pay range shown on each job posting is the minimum and maximum target for new-hire salaries.
