We are seeking a results-driven and customer-focused Account Executive to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and closing new business opportunities. This role involves working closely with potential clients to understand their needs, presenting our solutions, and guiding them through the sales process.
Main ResponsibilitiesAs an Account Executive at Galileo, you will play a foundational role in developing, building, and scaling our client portfolio.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
- Prospecting: Identify and qualify new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach.
- Client Engagement: Engage with potential clients to understand their business challenges and demonstrate how our Gen AI Evaluation and Observability software can address their needs.
- Presentations and Demos: Conduct compelling product presentations and lead demonstrations to showcase the value of our solutions.
- Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, accurately forecasting sales activities and revenue achievement.
- Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations and close deals with new clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, acting as their trusted advisor.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Market Feedback: Provide feedback to the product development team based on client interactions and market insights to drive continuous improvement.
We’re looking for an exceptional Account Executive, interested in helping customers solve complex problems at the intersection of Data and ML.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a related role, preferably within the software or technology industry.
- Sales Acumen: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and closing deals.
- Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of AI, machine learning, and software applications, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Customer-Centric: Passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving customer success.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing customer challenges.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer success.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, Computer Science) or equivalent work experience.
- Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and support sales activities.

The pay range for this role is listed below and represents the expected salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for commission, equity, and company sponsored benefits/perks.
- The annual pay range for this role is an OTE of $250-330K.
