ABOUT GENUINE FOODS

At Genuine Foods we create nourishing food environments at schools and workplaces through great-tasting and wholesome meals, made from genuine ingredients. We are a growing social enterprise that uses food to enhance health, productivity, and happiness. We believe that fresh, scratch-made food together with unparalleled service and meaningful enrichment programs can transform lives and build community. Food service management is what we do, but what we achieve together with our customers, our partners and our dedicated team goes beyond the plate.

ABOUT THE POSITION
Genuine Foods is looking for a hospitality and retail growth leader to help our college and university partners build dining programs students choose repeatedly. This position requires 80% travel or more. You will take Genuine Foods' innovative concepts from idea to doors open, including costing, sourcing, operational setup, launch, and growth. This role is for someone who understands both operations and marketing, and who knows a great concept only works if the numbers, the supply chain, and the kitchen work too.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Grow sales and participation in existing campus accounts across retail, cafes, coffee, catering, and residential dining.
  • Bring Genuine Foods' innovative concepts to life on campus, including pop-ups, branded retail, and themed takeover events, owning the full launch: recipe and menu costing, pricing, vendor sourcing, equipment and layout needs, staffing and training, and go-live marketing.
  • Build annual growth plans for each assigned account with RDOs, unit leads, and campus auxiliary services partners.
  • Use sales and transaction data to find opportunities in pricing, menu mix, hours, and meal plan use.
  • Partner with campus marketing and student groups to drive traffic and engagement.
  • Support new account openings, from concept setup to launch marketing.
  • Track client and student satisfaction, and turn feedback into improvements that move NPS.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience growing sales in multi-unit restaurant, retail, hospitality, or consumer brand settings. Campus dining experience is a plus; experience beyond contract food service is required.
  • A track record of launching concepts and growing same-store sales, with numbers to show for it.
  • Hands-on operations know-how: food and labor costing, P&L impact, sourcing and vendor management, and setting up new concepts in working kitchens.
  • Strong understanding of merchandising, pricing, menu engineering, and marketing to Gen Z.
  • Comfort working with university leadership, auxiliary services, and student government.
  • Strong data skills: you use sales and transaction reports to make decisions.
  • Willingness to travel 80% or more of the time.

Benefits and Perks:

  • Paid Time Off
  • Holiday pay
  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits
  • Career growth opportunities

Genuine Values:

  • Trustworthiness: Integrity, transparency, reliability, consistency, and delivery excellence.
  • Personal Accountability: Ownership in solving problems, no excuses, learning from mistakes, and financial stewardship without sacrificing quality.
  • People First: Human-centered solutions, teamwork, hospitality, empathy, and cultural responsiveness.
  • Entrepreneurial: Adaptable, nimble, willing to go the extra mile, responsive, and encouraged to try new things.
  • Genuine: Commitment to real, tasty, scratch-cooked healthy food, authentic interactions, honesty, positivity, and professionalism.
