The annual salary range for this role is $90,000-105,000 in New York.

Why we are recruiting

The Partner Success team focuses on structuring and delivering tailored engagement for Forum Partners across Europe and North America. The team works in close collaboration with the Global Industries communities, 11 Forum Centres and Forum events.

We are currently searching for a Partner Success Specialist (Account Manager) who, together with their Partner Lead (relationship manager) counterpart, will form a two-person Account Team focused on building and strengthening interactions with Partner Representatives across a portfolio of Forum Partner companies. The role will focus primarily—though not exclusively—on organizations from the Communication and Technology Industries.

Responsibilities include:

  • Onboard Partner Representatives into the Forum ecosystem and contribute to shaping the engagement plan for Partners, in collaboration with their Account Team counterpart (Partner Lead), who leads the development of the partner’s strategic engagement plan.
  • Work closely with Forum Centre (project) colleagues to identify and communicate the latest engagement opportunities for partners.
  • Successful delivery of Partners’ events engagement, ranging from registrations, agendas, speaking opportunities, and logistics.
  • Maintaining ongoing Partner engagement with the Forum by building strong relationships with partner Representatives to ensure the ongoing delivery of tailored engagement plans.
  • Generating intelligence on Partner companies to flag potential risks and growth opportunities by consistently monitoring recent company announcements, annual reports, and senior executive changes.
  • Other responsibilities, as needed, include:
  • Get insights into the GIT and Communications and Tech Cluster responsibilities and deliver on ad hoc support needs
  • According to preference of candidate spend dedicated time into one small project with full own responsibility to deliver added value to the team and Forum (10% of time).

To be successful, a Partner Success Specialist (Account Manager) should: 

  • Build deep relationships with Partner Representatives to develop and execute on engagement plans based on the partner’s business priorities and relevant trends for their industry sectors.
  • Build strong working and collaborative relationships with their Account Team counterpart (Partner Lead).
  • Ensure a ‘One-Forum’ approach in coordination with the Forum’s Centres, Global Industries, events, and media teams to guarantee an optimal Partner engagement experience.
  • Monitor and proactively manage partner retention and engagement metrics.

Preferred Requirements and Experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent

2+ years of professional work experience

Successful track record in key account management and/or business relationship development, including proven ability to engage with multiple functions and business lines within an organization, preferred

Ability to connect the dots in a complex matrix environment and utilize disciplined and consistent follow-through to drive outcomes for internal and external parties.

A strong sense of perseverance and a commitment to delivering positive outcomes for the Forum and its Partners Digital mindset and capabilities Salesforce experience preferred

Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills and command of English; fluency in another language is a plus

Strong research and analytical skills
