Opportunity:


Allied Sports is hiring an Account Manager to join our fast-growing team.  We are looking for a motivated, dedicated and enthusiastic person to join our team to lead the day-to-day management of a Partnership Marketing client’s sponsorship portfolio. The role also will support the account team and agency business initiatives with prediction market industry expertise, organization, planning, idea generation, and cross-functional integration.

 

Responsibilities:

 

The position of Account Manager is client-facing and expected to maintain an in-depth understanding of clients’ business and forge partnerships with client-side counterparts, partners and vendors.

  • Lead day-to-day management of client's sponsorship platform including overall project management (e.g. project plans, timelines, agency integration and deliverables)
  • Develop and lead on sponsorship rights and asset management processes
  • Coordinate and manage activation programming with a cross functional team and relevant agency partners in connection with client's sponsorship platforms
  • Provide strategic thinking and POVs for sponsorship initiatives. Specific initiatives could include event activation development, talent / influencer strategy, customer engagement, hospitality programming, media integration strategy, content, etc.
  • Manage partner and vendor relationships and coordinate necessary deliverables on behalf of client
  • Provide proactive strategic thinking and recommendations for client
  • Manage project budgets and invoicing deadlines
  • Lead key meetings/calls with internal & external constituents
  • Provide support to Director and VP on overarching account management and planning

 

Qualifications:


  • 3-5 years of prior partnership experience required
  • Client-based account management experience; specific disciplines could include partnership marketing, event marketing, activation management.
  • Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects independently and with a larger team
  • League and/or team experience, an understanding of the business of sports, sports media, IP rights and sponsorship
  • Experience with on-site event management, event execution and vendor management 
  • Ability to think strategically, creatively and can problem solve independently
  • Ability to handle precise asset management records, allocation, tracking and reconciliation
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Excellent time management, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite (in particular PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Able to work weekends, holidays and non-traditional hours, as required


Considerations:


  • Hybrid schedule: Office in New York, NY with 3 days in-office (Tues-Thurs) and 2 days remote (Mon & Fri) weekly (subject to change)
  • Base salary range in New York City, NY: $75-$90K annually 

This represents the salary range that Allied Sports, in good faith, might be willing to pay for this job at the time of this posting. Actual base salary depends on several factors, including market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), and level of responsibility. Allied Sports expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Allied Sports would consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range only in truly exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials, or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position.
