We are hiring an Account Manager!

As the Account Manager - US at Breeze, you'll be responsible for managing and growing relationships with key US/EU merchants and play a key role in driving merchant retention, satisfaction, and revenue growth. You'll work closely with Sales, Product, and Operations teams to ensure clients successfully adopt and utilize Breeze's payment solutions and services.

This role is ideal for someone who is a highly driven, client-focused individual with a strong understanding of the payments landscape and has experience working in the FinTech or Payments industry, working with US merchants. As our first AM hire in the US, you will help scale the US Account Management function, focusing on strategic client engagement as the company grows.

Preference to candidates who can work in a hybrid setting in NYC, but open to strong remote candidates. 

What You’ll Do
  • Own and drive expansion, retention, and long-term success for a portfolio of existing key merchant accounts
  • Execute on strategic account planning, QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews), and client-facing product training
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales and Product teams to achieve product adoption and client-led feature requests.
  • Build, improve, or maintain CRM systems, client health metrics, and standardized reporting workflows
  • Track and report on merchant churn rate, revenue growth and retention, client satisfaction, and adoption of new Breeze features
  • Support representing the voice of the customer internally and identifying cross/upsell opportunities
What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or a similar client-facing role, preferably within Payments/FinTech.
  • Experience working in scale-up and high-growth environments, and growing strategic client relationships to drive revenue
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with global Sales, Product, Tech, Risk/Compliance teams
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority merchant accounts, internal stakeholders (executive level down), and complex client issues effectively
  • Clear communication and collaboration skills
  • A proactive, results-oriented, and excellent problem-solving mindset
Nice to Have
  • Experience with crypto, cross-border, or multi-currency payment products
  • Familiarity with client health scoring tools, and/or BI/reporting dashboards
  • Background supporting SE/FDEs in technical integrations
