Department: Sales & Account Management

Reports To: Head of Sales

Location: New York City (On-site, with domestic & international travel)

Type: Full-Time

The Role

As an Account Manager, you'll own a book of existing clients and be measured on driving trading revenue from that book — growing usage, deepening engagement, and expanding subscriptions across your accounts.

You'll be the go-to person for your clients' success on the platform, and you'll help shape how UNI builds long-term value for the customers we already have.

What You'll Do

•      Engage with our existing customer base to enhance trading activity on our platform

•      Re-engage dormant accounts and identify growth opportunities within your book of business

•      Conduct regular check-ins to understand evolving customer needs and surface pain points

•      Maintain and manage your account pipeline and follow-ups in our CRM system

•      Identify upsell and subscription-expansion opportunities within current accounts

•      Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to align messaging and campaigns for existing clients

Requirements

Must Have

•      3+ years of experience in diamond and jewelry in sales positions

•      Strong organizational and time management skills, with familiarity with CRM tools and sales engagement platforms

•      A team player with a strong, service-driven approach

•      Outgoing, with the drive and enthusiasm to do the role with a can-do mindset

•      A scrappy self-starter who can spot growth opportunities unaided, with a flexible, persistent, and assertive personality

•      Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle rejection in an old-school market

•      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

•      A team player with a strong, service-driven approach

•      Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Nice to Have

•      GIA graduate

•       Experience in B2B diamonds sales (wholesale)

Benefits

•      Employment Type: Full-time employee, based in NYC

•      This position requires frequent domestic travel, and occasional international travel

•      Competitive base salary, with the right incentives ($60-90K)

•      Health, dental, vision and life insurance - 100% covered for the employee, plus strong coverage for immediate family

•      401(k) and Paid PTO

•      Meaningful, purpose-driven work

•      A supportive and inclusive environment

•      The ability to help shape the future direction of the company

•      Opportunity to join a high-growth startup and a fast-paced, international, diverse, and collaborative team of professionals
