Own post-sale relationships for a portfolio of B2B software customers, guiding onboarding and go-live, coordinating implementation support, conducting regular account reviews, driving renewals, identifying expansion opportunities, and closing upsells. Build the company’s account management function, collaborate with Forward Deployed Engineers and Account Executives, and help regulated financial-services customers expand their use of Footprint’s compliance platform.

Footprint is the agentic platform that learns your compliance program and runs it end to end.

Compliance teams at banks and fintechs are drowning in financial crimes investigations. Transaction volumes are surging, regulators keep raising the bar, and the work still runs on manual review queues stitched together from legacy vendors. Percy, our agentic system, learns each team's procedures and makes the same calls their analysts would: clearing false positives, escalating real risk, writing the case narrative, and documenting every decision for audit. It cuts review workloads by 70%+.

The harder problem is underneath. Every investigation is grounded in the data sources compliance teams already trust, and every case commits to an organizational memory that compounds — so a pattern one analyst caught in March surfaces automatically in October, across KYC, EDD, sanctions, and monitoring. Whether the team is five analysts or 500, they share one brain. Every memory carries provenance. Agents propose; humans approve. That's four years of identity infrastructure sitting under the agent, and it's the part nobody can bolt on later.

We're backed by QED, Index, and Box Group, and trusted by FDIC- and OCC-regulated banks plus fintechs like Bilt, Nuvei, and MoonPay. We 5x'd revenue last year. The team is small, senior, and ships fast.

The short version: you'll own a book of Footprint customers from the day they sign: working alongside our Forward Deployed Engineers as they get each customer live, meeting with each team regularly and growing what they do with Footprint. This is our first Account Manager, on-site in New York, reporting to Peter Sweeney. Base $145K–$155K, OTE $190K–$205K, plus equity.

The Role

We're hiring our first Account Manager to look after Footprint's customers once they sign.

Most customers start with Percy on one workflow and add more over time. When a team you work with wants to add a workflow or a product, you scope it with a Forward Deployed Engineer and close the deal. When a different team or business line at the same customer gets interested, you bring in an Account Executive and work it together.

You'll report directly to Peter Sweeney, our Head of GTM Strategy and Post Sales.

What You'll Own

Your book of accounts. You own each customer relationship from signature through every renewal. When an Account Executive brings on a new team at one of your customers, that team joins your book once it signs

From signature to go-live. The Account Executive introduces you once a contract is signed. While a Forward Deployed Engineer gets the customer live, you're their main contact, and once they're live the account is yours

Getting customers what they need. When something comes up, you get the right person at Footprint on it and stay with it until the customer has their answer

Regular check-ins. You meet with each team on a steady rhythm, bring them what's new in the product and hear what's changing on their side. Those conversations are where the next opportunities show up

Growth inside your accounts. Selling new products and new use cases to the teams you manage is yours, and so is making what they already run work harder for them. The opportunity is often a workflow the customer hasn't brought to Footprint yet. You find it, scope it with a Forward Deployed Engineer and close it

The function itself. How we run onboarding, check-ins and the handoff from Account Executives is yours to set

Must-Have

  • You've owned a book of B2B software accounts after the sale, and you can walk through an upsell you found and closed inside one of them, ideally one where you had to uncover the use case before you could sell it

  • You've worked alongside engineers on customer implementations and kept working with them afterward to get customer questions to the right person

  • You've kept a regular cadence of check-ins across your accounts, and customers used those meetings to bring you what they wanted next

  • You've shared accounts with Account Executives under clear rules about who owns what, and both sides would work with you again

  • You can learn a technical product quickly enough to explain what it does inside a customer's workflow and see where it could do more

Nice-to-Have

  • You've managed accounts at banks, fintechs or payments companies. Our customers are regulated, so knowing how they evaluate and buy software shortens your first quarter

  • You've worked with compliance, fraud, AML or KYC software. You'd speak our customers' language from the start

  • You've been early at a company where account management was new. You'll be building ours, and having watched one get built helps

Success Looks Like

90 Days: You know the people at each account in your book, what they run on Footprint and where they could go next. You've met every customer who signed since you started, check-ins are running with each team, and you have a first expansion opportunity in motion.

1 Year: The customers in your book do more with Footprint than when you started, and you can trace that growth to deals you found and closed. Your way of running accounts is the one the next Account Manager learns.

Why Join Footprint
  • Massive impact, fast: You'll work on projects that shape company direction, not analysis that gets shelved.

  • Own meaningful work: From day one, you'll have direct ownership over strategic initiatives that drive the business forward.

  • Real growth opportunity: Promotion timelines depend on performance: the harder you work, the quicker you'll get promoted.

  • Winning team and culture: We're a fast-moving, no-BS team that likes to win (and have fun doing it).

  • 💰 Generous compensation and equity packages

  • 🍽 Free lunch and dinner (after 7pm)

  • 💪 Monthly wellness stipend

  • 🏖 Unlimited PTO

  • 🏥 Fully covered health, dental, and vision insurance

  • 🚀 The chance to help shape the future of internet identity and financial crime prevention
