About the role:

This is a highly strategic and intentional hire, the second Account Manager at Cresta. Reporting directly to the Head of Enterprise Account Management, you will play a central role in driving upsells, renewals, and long-term customer value. Beyond individual quota ownership, you will be instrumental in shaping and co-building the Account Management function from the ground up.

We’re looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys designing new processes, and can help create a scalable motion as the team grows rapidly in the coming years.

While this role begins as an individual contributor position, it comes with a clear path to future leadership for those who demonstrate strong performance, strategic thinking, and a passion for building.

Responsibilities:

  • Builder of Enduring Partnerships: You invest in relationships that last. You prioritize trust and long-term value over short-term wins, and you serve as a strategic partner who elevates both the customer’s and Cresta’s success
  • Grit, Patience, and Follow-Through: You know meaningful outcomes aren’t created overnight. You navigate complexity, setbacks, and long sales/adoption cycles with resilience. Your ability to stay focused and persistent directly fuels customer growth
  • Operationally Excellent, Internally and Externally: You understand that internal alignment is often the key to unlocking customer outcomes. You work seamlessly across Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Operations, ensuring we deliver a unified, high-quality experience
  • Compelling Storyteller: Cresta operates in a dynamic and competitive market. You can articulate our value clearly, teach customers something they didn’t know, and help them understand, at both strategic and operational levels - why Cresta wins
  • Customer Growth Mindset: You know what great adoption looks like and how to build upon it. You identify signals, diagnose gaps, and guide customers toward deeper value realization that sets the stage for retention and expansion
  • Creative Commercial Thinker: You’re comfortable using the full suite of commercial levers; product mix, incentives, deal mechanics, to architect smart, efficient deals. You think creatively while maintaining healthy business fundamentals
  • Active Listener with Synthesis Skills: You connect dots quickly. You take in information from multiple stakeholders and convert it into clear, actionable insights that shape account strategy and elevate the customer experience
  • Strategic Approach to Travel: There’s no quota for travel, only impact. You understand when being in the room matters and when it becomes a differentiator in advancing a renewal, deepening executive trust, or accelerating an upsell

Qualifications We Value:

  • Experience in Customer Success or Sales roles where you owned revenue or renewal outcomes; experience in the contact center ecosystem or consulting is a strong plus
  • Consistent record of hitting or exceeding goals in customer-facing environments
  • A thoughtful career narrative that demonstrates your viewpoint, your growth, and why Cresta’s Account Manager role aligns with your trajectory

Perks & Benefits:

We offer a comprehensive and people-first benefits package to support you at work and in life:

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage with plans to fit you and your family
  • Flexible PTO to take the time you need, when you need it
  • Paid parental leave for all new parents welcoming a new child
  • Retirement savings plan to help you plan for the future
  • Remote work setup budget to help you create a productive home office
  • Monthly wellness and communication stipend to keep you connected and balanced
  • In-office meal program and commuter benefits provided for onsite employees

Compensation at Cresta

Cresta’s approach to compensation is simple: recognize impact, reward excellence, and invest in our people. We offer competitive, location-based pay that reflects the market and what each individual brings to the table.

The posted base salary range represents what we expect to pay for this role in a given location. Final offers are shaped by factors like experience, skills, education, and geography. In addition to base pay, total compensation includes equity and a comprehensive benefits package for you and your family.

This role is variable target compensation eligible. There is potential to exceed target earnings when goals are surpassed.

We have noticed a rise in recruiting impersonations across the industry, where scammers attempt to access candidates' personal and financial information through fake interviews and offers. All Cresta recruiting email communications will always come from the @cresta.ai domain. Any outreach claiming to be from Cresta via other sources should be ignored.  If you are uncertain whether you have been contacted by an official Cresta employee, reach out to [email protected]
