The Role
The Account Manager ensures projects run smoothly, profitably and at the highest creative standard. You are the operational backbone of the client relationship — managing scope, timelines, budgets and team alignment while building trusted partnerships with clients.

You connect strategy, creative and production teams to deliver exceptional brand work on time and on budget. Account Managers manage 3 – 4 accounts at a time and support; running small projects independently and supporting senior members of the Account team on larger engagements. 

What You’ll Do

Client & Relationship Management

  • Support and grow day-to-day client relationships
  • Serve as a key point of contact for project communications
  • Anticipate client needs and proactively solve problems
  • Lead status meetings and ensure clear next steps and accountability
  • Escalate risks early and recommend solutions

Project & Delivery Management

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines and workplans
  • Write scopes of work and proposals for extension work
  • Manage budgets, forecasts and profitability
  • Track project progress and control scope changes
  • Align cross-functional teams (strategy, naming, design, research, comms, etc.)
  • Ensure quality and consistency across all deliverables

Commercial & Financial Stewardship

  • Support finance reporting and contribute to business performance visibility
  • Identify opportunities for organic growth within accounts

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Coordinate internal teams across disciplines
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable and positive team culture

Tools & Ways of Working

  • Leverage project management platforms (e.g., Smartsheet, Excel, etc.)
  • Maintain organized documentation, knowledge management and version control
  • Be comfortable using AI tools (e.g., Copilot, generative tools, project automation tools) to improve efficiency, documentation, analysis and communication

As an Account Manager at Siegel+Gale, you will:

  • Assist in the project management of clients
  • Develop work plans designed to meet project goals
  • Establish project budgets, schedules, and resource needs for various brand strategy, naming, interactive, and communications projects
  • Assist in the day-to-day oversight of these projects to ensure that the project team meets project scope and deliverables
  • Track project progress and ensure change is effectively controlled and managed
  • Proactively manage project knowledge and client materials to ensure various team members’ activities and work product are aligned
  • Report on project performance to inform company Finance and New business functions
  • Forecasting revenues and ensure job profitability
  • Assist in keeping Senior Account Management abreast of issues and informed of work flow improvement opportunities
  • Assist in professional development and directing of project managers

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 3–6 years of experience in a branding, design or creative agency
  • Strong project management expertise (PMP or formal training a plus)
  • Experience managing complex, multi-workstream brand programs
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Financial acumen and experience managing budgets and forecasting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills — clear, confident and concise
  • Ability to work effectively with senior clients and creative teams
  • Understanding of branding, corporate identity, and design processes
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational discipline
  • Solutions-oriented mindset and calm under pressure
  • Experience working with global or multi-market teams is a plus
