About You:

  • You’ve spent a few years in a client-facing startup role (partnerships, account management, customer success, or sales ops).
  • You’re comfortable owning partner calls end-to-end: onboarding, check-ins, problem-solving, and expansion conversations.
  • You’ve been part of upsells or expansions before and know how to grow accounts naturally by driving real value.
  • You’re proactive and take ownership from day one - you don’t wait for direction, you make things happen.
  • You’re highly organized and able to manage a high volume of partners and priorities at once.
  • You’re relationship-driven and know how to build trust with senior roles at partner companies.

  • You’re data-minded and use insights to identify expansion and upsell opportunities.
  • You think in systems - building repeatable, scalable processes excites you.
  • You care deeply about quality and the partner experience, balancing efficiency with a human touch.

You don’t need the perfect resume - just a genuine drive to make an impact and excitement about our mission.

Responsibilities:

  • Activate new partners: Own the onboarding process from sales handoff, setting partners up for success from day one.
  • Expansion: Find new and creative ways to expand how partners use Contra.
  • Upsell: Turn existing partners from a $12k/year customer into a $100k+/year customer.
  • Support: Manage partners by responding quickly and solving issues efficiently.
  • Scale: Build repeatable, efficient systems to support partners as we grow.
  • Organization: Stay organized and efficient to manage a high volume of partners and priorities.
  • Human touch: Keep every outreach personalized—whether written, video, or live.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years in partnerships, account management, customer success, or sales ops (startup experience a big plus)
  • Experience leading client calls and owning external relationships
  • Ability to build relationships with leadership teams.
  • A strategic, relationship-driven mindset with strong sales acumen and a passion for building impactful partnerships.
  • Passion for working in a fast-paced startup environment.
