The Opportunity
The Account Manager will guide agency clients through the strategic and creative needs of experiential production programs while acting as a key steward of the client relationship. This role is responsible not only for managing programs but also for strategically growing and retaining client partnerships.
The Account Manager serves as the bridge between the client and the internal teams, balancing client expectations with production realities while identifying opportunities to expand programs, deepen relationships, and deliver exceptional experiences that drive long-term client success.
This role requires someone who understands experiential marketing, can confidently manage client relationships, and is proactive in identifying opportunities to evolve programs and strengthen partnerships.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the experiential industry (agency or client-side) and will be an excellent communicator who can operate both strategically and tactically.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary client contact and trusted partner, responsible for building, nurturing, and retaining client relationships
- Identify opportunities to grow accounts through new initiatives, expanded programming, and strategic recommendations
- Project manage cross-functionally within the company to represent the client's needs
- Translate client goals into actionable strategies for internal teams
- Balance the demands of clients with the realities of production and internal workflows
- Represent the clients’ needs within the agency creative workflow
- Create and maintain strong relationships with clients to better understand and anticipate their needs
- Manage all reporting about the health and performance of customer accounts
- Write and oversee the creation of proposal decks and program recaps
- Proactively mitigate issues and ensure a high level of client satisfaction throughout program execution
Qualifications
- Previous agency account management experience required
- Previous production experience required
- Experiential and events background required
- Strong client relationship management and communication skills
- Ability to think strategically about account growth and program development
- Articulate and well accustomed to a client-facing role
- Willingness and ability to travel
- A strong creative sensibility and understanding of experiential marketing
Compensation
- Salary range: $70K - $80K + benefits
