Ruder Finn’s Technology & Innovation Practice is seeking an experienced, energetic Account Supervisor for several B2B technology clients ranging from Fortune 500 multinationals to disruptive AI startups. The ideal candidate will provide strategic counsel and execution for clients in the technology sector – spanning AI infrastructure and systems, data and cloud services, and other technology segments. This role will oversee the development, planning and execution of high-quality strategy programs for clients and play a key role in growing new and existing business.
This is a dynamic client-facing role working with highly engaged senior executives and leaders with the opportunity to shape a rapidly evolving category at the forefront of enterprise tech. This individual will need to build strong client relationships, bring a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, and drive growth within an agency environment and possess a strong record of account management, project management, team collaboration, and exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
Act as primary client contact; continually foster client-agency relationships to build trust and become a valuable resource to clients
Plan and run media relations programs; identify media contacts in technology and business outlets, build relationships and secure coverage
Effectively develop full range of written materials including press releases, byline articles, speeches, client correspondence and reports
Serve as the expert leader on client teams, demonstrating industry or media-driven knowledge that directly and indirectly affects the client
Identify and nurture opportunities for organic growth and generate new leads.
Evaluate communications opportunities for senior business leaders while communicating the organization’s position on key topics
Maintain a thorough understanding of clients' businesses and industries, and the industry issues that directly and indirectly affect the client
Contribute to business growth through introducing clients to new capabilities, building a network of industry contacts and participating in relevant professional organizations
Qualifications
A minimum of 4+ years of experience in an agency environment with B2B tech experience highly preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or Technology-related field preferable, or a related field
Excellent writing, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to speak with high-level executives internally and externally
Detail-oriented, organized and dedicated; proactive and enthusiastic with an ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines; a self-starter
Display and encourage creativity and innovation in self and others
Strong experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

The anticipated salary range for this position, at the time of posting, is $75,000 – $100,000. The salary of the applicant selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, education, internal equity, geography, relevant years of experience, certifications, skills, abilities of the selected applicant, and other job-related qualifications. In addition, a range of medical, dental, vision, disability, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available by the company.
